This article explains how to monitor your charging infrastructure via the reev platform and what monitoring functionalities are available to you.
Click on the Monitoring menu item, then on the Charging Infrastructure sub-item to view an overview of your entire charging infrastructure managed through the reev platform.
Locations
At the top of the screen, you have the option to display the complete charging infrastructure or filter by individual locations. You can adjust the arrangement of locations via drag & drop to suit your preferences. Under the Administration menu, in the Locations sub-item, you can add new locations or modify the details of existing ones.
Charging Groups
Each charging group is displayed as its own tile. A charging group can consist of a single controller charging station or a combination of a controller and connected extender charging stations. Each charging group can be individually configured via the reev platform.
Access Control:
If access control is disabled, "Free Charging" is active. This means charging sessions can be started without authorization. Access control can be set individually for each charging group. When access control is enabled, only active users or charging cards can start charging sessions through authorization.
For each charging group, additional settings can be configured by clicking Show details. These settings can be adjusted in the sidebar that opens.
By clicking the pencil icon at the top of the screen, you can rename the charging group. This can help you distinguish between different charging groups more easily.
If there are technical issues within a charging group, restarting the controller charging station may help resolve them. Click Restart to initiate this process.

You also have the option to start a charging session via your reev platform. This can be useful if the person plugged to the connector does not have their charging card at hand.
Please note that it is currently not possible to retroactively assign this charging session to a specific user. You can also unlock a charging point. This may be helpful if the physical unlocking on-site is not functioning.
