This article explains how to perform an SBC update on ABL models.
Download the latest ABL SBC software
Make sure to update the SBC software to the latest available version. If the charging infrastructure is not running on the newest version, visit the download section of ABL.
To download the latest SBC software version, click on:
“Service” → “Software”
“Software Controller Charging Stations” → “Software Update” → Here, select the appropriate software version for your ABL Controller charging station (eMH2, eMH3, or eM4).
Installing the update on the ABL user interface
To run the software update, click in the ABL user interface:
“Maintenance”
Select “System” and, in the “Software Update” section, choose the file if it has already been downloaded from the ABL website.
Note: The SBC update may take up to 20 minutes, depending on the software version of the SBC and the number of charging points in your charging group.
