User Groups | Tariff Management – Scheduled Pricing

With the Scheduled Pricing feature in the reev Platform, operators can define time-based charging prices. This allows pricing to be flexibly adjusted according to times of day, days of the week, or specific time periods.

Key Information at a Glance

  • You can set different prices per kWh and parking fees per minute for specific time slots.

  • The price active at session start applies to the entire charging process – it doesn’t change mid‑session.

  • You always have to define a default (fallback) price for each User Group.

  • eRoaming sessions are not supported.

  • Ad‑hoc charging applies only to the energy price (no time‑based parking fees).

  • reev App users can view the full schedule in the latest app version.

  • Ad‑hoc users see the same schedule after scanning the QR code on reev.one.

Step-by-Step Guide

Use the Scheduled Pricing function to manage your electricity costs or grid charges efficiently. For example, you can pass on cheaper night-time tariffs or prevent load peaks.

To set up Scheduled Pricing, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the reev Platform.

  2. Navigate to User Groups.

  3. Select an existing tariff (via the pencil icon) or create a new one.

  4. Activate the Scheduled Pricing option.

  5. Define the time periods for which different prices apply.

    • Example: Higher prices on weekdays from 08:00–18:00, reduced prices at night or on weekends.

  6. Save your settings.

  7. Check the tariff overview to ensure all time slots have been applied correctly.

Notes:

  • To edit tariff settings in the reev Platform, you need Administrator rights.

  • Changes to an active tariff only apply to future charging sessions. Charging sessions already started will always be billed with the tariff that was valid at the session start.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I define different prices per weekday?
Yes. You can configure individual weekdays separately (e.g., different prices for weekends and weekdays).

How many time slots can I set per tariff?
There is no fixed limit, but the number of time slots should remain manageable to avoid errors. Time overlaps are not allowed.

Is there an automatic fallback when no time slot is active?
Yes. When no specific time slot applies, the configured default price is automatically used.

The price change is not applied — what should I do?

  • Check whether your tariff change was saved.

  • Refresh the page or log out and back in if changes are not visible immediately.
