This article describes how to create a diagnostic file via the web interface of an ABL charging station. The diagnostic file contains important system information and log data required for troubleshooting and for communication with support.
Prerequisites
The following prerequisites must be met before you create a diagnostic file:
Access to the web interface of the ABL controller charging station (via LAN or WLAN)
Note: You can find instructions on how to access the web interface here.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps to create and download a diagnostic file:
Step 1: Access the Web Interface
Open the web interface of the ABL charging station in your browser.
Step 2: Generate the Diagnostic File
Navigate to "Maintenance" -> "System".
If needed, narrow down the desired time period using the date fields.
Click the button to create the diagnostic file.
Tip: If you leave the date fields empty, all available log files will be fully included in the diagnostic file.
Step 3: Download the Diagnostic File
After creation, a download link will be displayed.
Click the link to download the diagnostic file.
Note: The diagnostic file is only available for download for approximately 15 minutes after creation. Download the file promptly. After this period expires, the file must be generated again.
Verifying the Result
After downloading, verify the following points:
The diagnostic file was downloaded successfully.
The file size is plausible (not 0 KB).
The desired time period is included in the log data.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
Download link is not displayed | Diagnostic file was not fully generated | Restart the process |
Download link no longer works | The 15-minute period has expired | Generate the diagnostic file again |
Diagnostic file is empty or very small | Incorrect time period selected or no log data available | Leave the date fields empty to include all log data |
