This article describes how to switch the technical operator of your Easee charging station to reev via the Easee App, so that the charging station connects to the reev backend.

Prerequisites

Make sure the following prerequisites are met before starting the operator switch:

  • Easee App (available in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store)

  • Access to your Easee charging station via the Easee App

  • An active internet connection for the charging station via Ethernet or WiFi to establish the connection to the reev backend

Note: After changing the technical operator, you will not be able to authorise charging sessions until you have received your reev account. If you urgently need to charge, you can revert the technical operator and set the access via the app to "Open". This allows charging without authorisation.

Note: The charging station requires an active internet connection in order to register with the reev backend.

Step-by-Step Guide

The following steps guide you through the operator switch to reev.

Change the Technical Operator in the Easee App

  1. Open the Easee App and log in.

  2. Go to the menu item Products.

  3. Select the desired charging station.

  4. Scroll down to the additional settings.

  5. Open the Site settings.

  6. Under Technical Operator, select the entry reev.

  7. Tap Save.

The charging station will now connect to the reev backend. The operator switch is complete.

Tip: You can adjust the playback speed of the video.
