The serial number is required for commissioning, registration in the reev Platform, and for service or support cases. It is located on the nameplate (also called rating plate or type label) of the charging station.

The nameplate contains all key information about the charging station, including:

Model designation
Electrical specifications
Serial number

Note: The serial number is usually found below a barcode or QR code and is labeled “S/N” or “Serial Number.”

Below you will find an overview of where to locate the serial number depending on the manufacturer.

Important: For some manufacturers, the position of the nameplate may vary slightly depending on the model. If you cannot find the serial number, check the back, underside, or inside of the cover of the charging station.

The serial number is located on the nameplate in the upper left corner, directly below the barcode or under the manufacturer logo.

Terra AC Wallbox
The nameplate is located on the right side of the charging station. The serial number is in the second box below the ABB logo.

ABL

The serial number is located directly below the barcode on the nameplate.

Note: For Alpitronic, the serial number used for backend communication consists of the model name and the serial number.

The serial number is located on the right side of the nameplate.

eBox Professional
The serial number is located on the outside of the charging station, on the left side in the upper third.

Easee

Remove the front cover of the charger. The serial number is located above the Type 2 connector. The serial number and PIN are also printed on a sticker on the back of the user manual.

EVBox

For EVBox charging stations, a Chargebox ID is used instead of a traditional serial number. It can be found on the nameplate and is usually labeled “Chargebox ID.”

Gewiss

The nameplate is located on the right side of the housing cover. The serial number is to the right of the QR code.

Hager

Witty Share
The nameplate is located on the underside of the charging station. The serial number is to the right of the QR code.

Witty Pro / Plus
Also located on the underside, serial number to the right of the QR code.
