The configuration can be changed either via the Mennekes 4Installers app or directly through the charging station’s configuration interface.

1. Requirements
For the wallbox to be found in the 4Installers app, make sure:
Your smartphone/tablet is on the same network as the wallbox
OR
You connect your device to the wallbox’s local Wi-Fi access point.
Once the connection is established, the app should automatically detect the device.
2. Open the wallbox in the 4Installers app
Open the 4Installers app
Select your wallbox from the device list
Log in as an installer
The password was set during the initial installation.
3. Enable authorization
Open Settings
Navigate to Authorization & Release → Authorization
Under Authorization method, select: Authorization via backend
This activates authorization through the backend.Damit wird die Autorisierung über das Backend aktiviert.
4. Save changes
Click Save
The wallbox applies the settings after a few seconds.

1. Activate the charging station’s hotspot
Depending on the model, the wallbox’s access point is activated automatically or can be activated using a button/switch.
2. Connect to the charging station’s Wi-Fi
Open the Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone/tablet/laptop
Select the network
Enter the password (if required):
It is listed in the documentation, or
Was defined during installation
3. Open the user interface
Open a browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge …)
Enter the following address:
Access Point: 192.168.170.10Ethernet direct connection: 192.168.150.10

4. Log in
Log in with installer credentials
The password was set during the initial installation.
5. Perform configuration
Settings / Einstellungen öffnen
Navigate to Authorization & Release → Authorization
Under Authorization Mode, select: Authorization via backend
6. Save changes
Click Save
The wallbox applies the settings after a few seconds.

1. Requirement
The charging station must already be integrated into the local network (LAN or Wi-Fi) at the site.
2. Connect a device to the same network
Your smartphone, tablet, or laptop must be on the same network as the wallbox.
3. Find the wallbox in the network
The wallbox is usually reachable via:
Its local IP address
or via the AMTRON 4Installers app, which automatically detects the device
If the IP address is not known:
→ Retrieve it via the router, DHCP list, or the 4Installers app.
4. Open the user interface
Open a browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge …)
Enter the wallbox’s IP address.
5. Log in
Log in with installer credentials
The password was set during the initial installation.
6. Perform configuration
Open Settings
Navigate to Authorization & Release → Authorization
Under Authorization Mode, select: Authorization via backend
7. Save changes
Click Save
The wallbox applies the settings after a few seconds.
