Option 1: EVBox app for G4
The EVBox app can be used to migrate charging stations to the reev backend quickly and easily — directly on-site.
This feature is available for the following EVBox charger models:
EVBox Elvi
EVBox BusinessLine Gen4
EVBox Iqon
Migration takes less than one minute and ensures a smooth transition to the reev platform

Option 2: Everon dashboard for G3
To migrate an EVBox G3 charging station, a special Config Cable is required with its software (special cable: RS45 → USB). This cable is no longer commercially available. Therefore, the migration must be carried out by a service partner/company that already owns this cable.

Tasks for the executing electrician / service technician
First step: start by checking and disabling the following configurations:
evb_SerialAsConnectorID
evb_ResumeAfterReset
evb_ConnectorList
evb_EVBFunction
evb_DebugValues
Disable autostart by deleting any value registered next to evb_AutoStart
Second step: For Backend Connection / OCPP settings
Set evb_UseBackend = True
Set evb_ServerURL = set to your custom URL (for reev: wss://ocpp.reev.com)
In case of a SIM replacement set your own APN before replacing the SIM card next to evb_APNName
Set evb_ConnectionInfo = false
2. Configure Backend Connection
Please note the model of your charging station (G3 or G4).
For EVBox G3 & G4
Set the evb_Network configuration key as follows:
m2m.tele2.com,,**********,ws://ocpp.reev.com/,1.6J,80
3. Final Steps
Restart the charging station
Check connectivity to reev under the following link: https://config.reev.com/start
4. Additional Information
According to EV-Box, the SIM card delivered with the station is still paid for and will remain active until at least 2028.
