Prerequisites
The charging station is already registered in the EVBox system
You have an active EVBox Everon account
If you dont have access to your Everon account please contact the EV-Box Support Team with:
The Serialnumber of the EV-Box
Contact Ev-Box Support: support@evbox.com
The Firmware of the Station is up to date - see Step 1
You have been activated as a “Station Admin” by reev – see Step 2
1. Firmware Update
The Firmware update is crucial so please do not skip it
Log in to your EVBox Everon account.
Open the Firmware Tab
Ensure that the latest firmware version is installed on the station.
for the G4 the latest version is v0425....
for the G3 the latest version is v0140....
2. Activation as Station Admin
Log in to your EVBox Everon account.
Open the Station Tab
Select reev as your Technical Operator.
If you have not yet been activated as a Station Admin, please contact us at support@reev.com.
Once reev has activated you as a Station Admin, you may proceed with the configuration.
3. Adjust Configuration
Note: A general EVBox configuration video can be found here (for reference only – please follow the specific steps underneath).
Navigate to Stations > Management
Search for and select the charging station using the Station ID.
Important: After each change, click the cloud icon to apply the change.
please take a note of the Station ID, it is needed to identify the charger on the reev Plattform!
Open the Features tab.
Disable the setting “Autostart charging”.
Switch to the Configuration tab.
Search for and disable the configuration key
evb_SerialAsConnectorID
.Additionally, disable the following configuration keys:
evb_ResumeAfterReset
evb_ConnectorList
evb_SerialAsConnectorID
(if not already disabled)evb_EVBFunction
evb_DebugValues
Set
evb_ConnectionInfo
tofalse
4. Configure Backend Connection
Please note the model of your charging station (G3 or G4).
For EVBox G3 (without TLS encryption)
The G3 does not support TLS encryption, which is why it must connect without encryption.
Set the evb_Network
configuration key as follows:
m2m.tele2.com,,**********,ws://ocpp.reev.com/,1.6J,80
For EVBox G4 (with TLS encryption)
Ensure the firmware version is at least v0425B0425v0. Only this Firmware supports TLS encryption!
If you are unsure about the Firmware version, please use the configuration without TLS encryption as described above for the G3.
Then set the
evb_Network
configuration key to:
m2m.tele2.com,,**********,wss://ocpp.reev.com/,1.6J,443
6. Final Steps
Restart the charging station.
Deactivate the station in the EVBox Everon Service.
You can do that under the Tab "Details"
Scroll down and select deactivate station
7. Additional Information
According to EV-Box, the SIM card delivered with the station is still paid for and will remain active until at least 2028.
