Company Cars at Home for Employees | Specifying Electricity Rate

Written by Llewellyn Nakielski

In this article, you will learn how to enter or update your electricity rate, including providing proof, in the reev App.

For general information on using Charging Company Cars at Home, please see here: Charging Company Cars at Home | Gerneral Information & FAQ

In the Wallet menu, under My Rate in your reev App, you can enter your electricity rate, view the current rate, or update it (including scheduling future changes). To update your rate, you must upload a proof document.

Employees are required to enter their electricity price per kWh (tariff) into the platform because the charging point is installed at their home, and the electricity used comes from their personal energy contract. Since each employee’s energy supplier and contract differ, this ensures transparency and fairness in the billing process.

Note: Only the rate currently stored in the reev App will be considered for expense reimbursement/automatic reimbursement

Organizations have the option to define a flat-rate electricity price for all employees charging at home via the dashboard.

However, this flat-rate setting can only be defined or changed at the beginning of the next calendar year, ensuring consistency in billing throughout the year.
